Welcome to A Dash of Healing. I'm Dash and I am excited to share Reiki with you. 

I first became aware of my healing gifts as a child, but never had teachers or the vocabulary to understand what I was tapping in to. I lost touch with my gifts along the way, and as an adult got more into spirituality. First it was tarot, then meditation, and finally in 2024 I found information on Reiki. It immediately resonated with me and reminded me of the work I did as a child. 

After months of learning more information, I decided to get certified in Reiki healing. All of the teachers I had found had pricing outside of the budget I had at the time and after being denied for a partial scholarship, I decided to take a break from learning about Reiki and trying to find a teacher. I kept hearing the call and in the fall of 2025 I found a nontraditional path. I completed an online certification course with Lisa Powers in Usui Ryoho Reiki (Levels I, II & Master), while working full-time and taking care of my family, stopping between each of the three levels to get the attunements, learn, and integrate Reiki into my life. 

While I understand that spiritually money is an energetic exchange, in the physical realm it can be a barrier. Especially in addition to trying to find time in a busy schedule to rest and relax. I believe in accessibility, that is why I offer quicker, lower priced options. Reiki has been a gift that keeps on giving and I believe everyone should experience the healing that it offers.
